We spent hour first night in Seminyak since we wanted to explore the area before heading to Canggu. Since we weren't going to spend much time at the hotel anyways we were looking for a cheap yet clean and comfy hotel. Grandmas was exactly what we were looking for that night :) The room rate was around USD 20!! The location is right in the heart of Seminyak and only 5 minutes by feet from the beachfront. The rooms are small but you got everything you need and most importantly they are clean. I especially loved the breakfast. You could choose between some A la carte options. The design of the breakfast are is also very cool. After breakfast I treated myself with a 1 hour Bali massage which just was perfect! I still can't get over the fact that it only costs USD 7 for 1 hour. You should definitely check out the De Nyuh Spa even if you're not staying at the hotel. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes which is a great way to escape crazy Seminyak traffic.
