Kuala Lumpur - Hotel Stripes Review

We stayed 2 nights at the recently opened Hotel Stripes in Kuala Lumpur. It's a member of Autograph Collection Hotels which are all very stylish and Stripes definitely lived up to that. The hotel is located in the Jalan Kamunting are which is close to the core city centre and a new developing area with very cool and hip cafes and restaurants. I especially loved 'The Row' which is a historical street with many nice places to eat.

So back to the hotel. The rooms are very stylish and brand new. We stayed at a Studio. The walk-in shower was definitely a highlight. I also was very delighted that there where traditional pastries in the room waiting for me :) Prices are around USD75 per night, of course this can vary. Have a look at the rates here.

Now here comes the best part of the hotel: The roof!

Kuala Lumpurs skyline is beautiful and nothing beats an infinity pool with a nice view. Luckily for us it just was an elevator ride away. Besides having the pool up there you can also enjoy drinks at the rooftop bar or drop by for the Happy Hour.

Breakfast at the hotel is served at The Snug. You have everything you need including fresh prepared eggs. I also loved that you could take a coffee to go.

If you are up for Lunch or Dinner at the hotel there is the Brasserie 25 located on the Ground Floor. We hadn't had the chance to try it but the decor looks really nice.
